Horses of Puerto Rico
There are many places where the horses are left to roam free, epically on the Island of Vieques. Most people in the metropolitan areas on the Big Island are amazed to see horses pasturing in the open fields and along the roads. In the country on the Main Island, even though the farms are fenced some horses seem to be able to find openings to access other areas. When I was working on the website for Kiani Tours my friend, Letty requested "Wild Horse pictures." A trip was made to Vieques for a new set of horse photos. Even thought I had some images of animals that share the land on which I live, I wanted Letty's website to be adorned with authentic images form Vieques. With my novel having a Cowboy Theme it seemed appropriate to share a photo gallery dedicated to Cowboys and Cowgirls everywhere.
